MOOSE

All of my many past hunting clients will attest to the fact that we take BIG moose. Averaging over 60 inches in spread with exceptionally good brow palmation, many bulls have scored above 224 points Boone and Crockett. Success on these big bulls has always been nearly 100%. One of my moose camps will easily accommodate two hunters, with exceptional bulls from 65- to 70-inches taken each year. During a couple of these past years, moose hunters took bulls in the 60-inch range early in their hunts, only to have 70-inch bulls pass by their tent camps later! These big bulls are going into the rut during our hunting season, so seeing several bulls chasing cows is a common occurrence. Three assistant guides and myself will accompany all of my moose clients in the field, with some hunting for grizzly as well.

Spike camps will be strategically located with a good view of a big valley below. Horses or 6x6 ATVs are used for access to these comfortable spike camps. Your guide will do all the camp chores including the cooking. Some hunters may have an additional guide in camp to help out. I will supervise all guides very closely. Saddle horses are available for hunters in a couple of camps and Polaris Rangers are used in others. Book this popular hunt well in advance!
